Have an Xtreme Summer!
Our Xtreme Summer Fun Camp is open to boys and girls ages 6 to13. Our camp is a carefully structured program designed to reinforce our belief that childhood should be celebrated and that learning is a year round experience. Children stay engaged in a variety of arts and crafts and games designed to build hand-eye coordination and motor skills. Scheduled Martial Arts instruction aims to increase physical endurance, attention span and self control. We have a quality program at a reasonable price.
We swim, bowl, go to the movies, picnic at the park, beach, rock climb, play sports, create art...
Best of all, the friendships that are made are invaluable!

Recap of Summer Fun Camp 2011:
Fun at Camp Week I - The week of June 27th was a good jump to summer fun! We bowled at Eagle Rock Lanes. We cooled off in the expansive air conditioned gaming room at FunPlex, and we beat the heat at a screening of the Transformers.
We did something different this year and visited a pinball game museum. We had the opportunity to play games that were built as early as the 1930's. These were authentic pinball machines, no fancy gamesticks, remotes or gaming pads.
We got creative and painted wood sculptures and made model airplanes. Football games at the park and a trip to the library rounded off our week. Our campers are positive, well mannered and a joy to have! We look forward to sharing more of our experiences. It is not too late to join the fun...camp doesn't end until August 21st!
Fun at Camp Week II - July 5th - This week we took advantage of the sun and surf at Belmar Beach. The day was perfect, the water just right!
Have you been to the Monster Mini Golf course? We won't ruin the surprise, we'll just say that our visit was a glowing success. We took on the rock climbing wall at Diamond Gym and of course enjoyed karate games and arts and crafts at the dojo.
Coming up...Liberty Science Center, Keansburg Amusement Park, Point Pleasant...and more!
Fun at Camp Weeks III & IV - July 12th - This week at the Liberty Science Center we learned about the importance of hydration through a cooking experiment. It has been especially HOT this summer and the best way to keep cool and safe in the sun is to drink lots of water. We also learned about the microscopic germs that live on most surfaces and our bodies and a simple way to battle the tiny monsters. Did you know that just by washing your hands regularly with soap and water, you decrease your chances of getting sick from bacteria? That's right...good old fashioned soap and water!
We enjoyed the cool relief of the water attractions at Keansburg Amusement Park and watched a live whale show.
We braved the heat and picked up a kickball game with members of the Budo Way summer camp from Neptune at the park. No one cared about the score...we had too much fun!
